May I know where you wanna stay in the city (say which district)? Though, I suggest you find a chain hotel or inn like Home Inn, Hanting Express Hotel or Seven Days Inn nearby. They don't charge high and the facilities are generally good.1

For ladies handbags, you will have many choices near Sanyuanli. If the dealers you will meet happen to be there, I recommend you find the nearby Seven Days Inn to check in!1
