Can you see and walk on the wall from the pass?

Hello all, We want to visit this pass on our way from Taiyuan to Datong. Our children (born in China and age 7 and 9) want to see the big wall and stand and walk on it. A few questions:
- I can not find picture from this pass where you can see the wall 'curling into the landscape'. Can anyone tell us if we can see it from there and walk for a short while on the wall?
- Can you access this pass by car or do you need a walk to get there. If yes, how long is this walk.
- Someone also mentioned Yanggou as an area to visit the wall from Datong. Does anyone knows more about this and well us what we can see there?
