urgent! cell-phone advice

Hello guys!I'm wondering if I plan to take my iPhone with an international calling plan...must I still buy the SIM card in China (specifically Beijing)? Is it easier to just rent an international phone?Thoughts?Thanks.

Christy, it's worth buying a Chinese sim card when you are in Beijing. It's cheaper than your international calling plan. Don't worry. The process isn't too much complicated. Does your iphone support CDMA or WCDMA mode? If it supoorts CDMA, you may use China Telecom's sim card. If it supports WCDMA, then you should use China Unicom's sim card.
