Hi im a philippine passport holder and i plan to visit Yangshuo and Guangzhou do i need this tourist visa (L)??

Yes, you need to apply for a tourist L for this visit. Generally, a tourist L is issued for 30 days as the duration of stay, but it can be less case by case. Once you get it issued, you can arrange the itinerary as you like for these two places based on the duration of stay.
