About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

residence permit/ contract

Is it ok for a school to apply for their employee a residence visa by june but their contract with the employee will only start by july? That means the employee has to leave before his contract ends?

Hi, the residence permit is issued based on your working contract. So it is ok for you to enter China earlier, but make sure get the permit down within 30 days after entry.
