About:Kunming Airport

Transfer: taipei-kunming-kolkotta(india)

i'm taking china eastern airlines through out my journey , but it seems i need to take out my luggage and then transfer again , and this is my first time travelling through china , so i'm not aware of the airport where to go and how to do things , can anyone help me . thanks .

If you use the same airline company's flight, you do not need to claim your luggage and recheck during your transfering. For the luggage issue, you are suggested to consult the airline company again for confirming.

For transfering in the KM airport without claiming luggage, you need to get to 1F by taking escalator from 2F to make the transfering process. Then you need to go through the inspection and quarantine. Then you need to be checked at the Port Visa Office and then is the immigration inspection. After that you need to pass the security check to enter the waiting hall for the next flight.
