What do you mean, holding a wedding or registering your marriage? If your Chinese bride and her family asks for a wedding, then you'd better follow their tradition. You know, their relatives and friends are usually invited. If you do not register your marriage in China, then you may consider registering your marriage at local civil affairs bureau. After you register your marriage, your marriage is under protection of Chinese laws.
