How is the traffic for trade on the Yangtze river. Do vessels have to wait for a long time?

Well, its designed traffic capacity (oneway) is 50 million tons per year. According to the news report, the practical capacity in 2013 nearly reached its designed capacity. The vessels had to wait one or two days in order to pass the dam.
