Hotel recommendation and transportation from Emei train station

Hello! We will be traveling from Xi'an to Emei by overnight train. In what city/town should we look for hotels to book, if we are going specifically to see the buddha? We will be getting into that train station from Xi'an, will we need to take another bus or train to get to the city where the buddha is?
