About:Policy for Foreigners with Immediate Family Living in China

Can i get spouse visa from my home country?

Hi
My finance is applying for a study visa in china, i wanted to ask that when she gets it can i apply for a spouse visa and go directly with her from our home country.
P.S we will get married after her visa arrives

Abul, I think you need to apply for the S1 type. However, it requires relationship proof (marriage certificate for example). So you may get married first. Then she goes to China with her X type and sends you the invitation letter. With the invitation letter and marriage certificate, you can apply for the S1 type.
