My question are, if I have plan work in China, what suggestion that you could give me?Do I need to go back to Indonesia to make new passport first?

Hi, my name is Steven from Jakarta, Indonesia
Now i had student's visa which will expired on end of July, then my passport will expired on end of this year.
If i go back to Indonesia then my student X will expired. So if I have job here what type should I make to back to China?what document that I should prepare from china?
