About:Chinese Consulate in Vancouver

I hold No Criminal Record Certificate (Police vrification) issued in Shanghai in Aug 2012

Many thanks for your prompt reply. Further to my previous query on this subject, I am a holder of resident permit card for Shanghai as I was staying there and worked for 12 years. I obtained a "No Criminal Record certificate" from the local public security bureau(police station) in Shanghai where I was living, covering for the period upto 8th Aug 2012 and attested by a Notary Public in Shanghai, I submitted this certificate to obtain my Canadian temporary resident visa in Nov 2012 which was accepted. After this process, I am living in Vancouver with my husband since 15th Feb 2013. I am now applying for my Canadian permanent resident card through my husband who is applying under Canadian Experience Class category. They require a "No Criminal Record Certificate" issued, which should be less than one year old. As I am living in Vancouver since Feb 2013, can you please advise if your office can attest the No Criminal Record Certificate that I possess which was issued in Aug 2012 at Shanghai.

Hi, you may contact or pay a visit to the consulate directly for this. Answers on this forum are all reference by experience of other guests so it may not accurate enough. As to my understanding, you may need to contact anyone in China to help you for a new "No Criminal Record Certificate".
