Canadian Residing in US applying for Chinese visa in Canada

We'd like to know whether it would be possible for us to apply in Toronto while we're currently living in Orlando, FL, USA. We are Canadian citizens but temporarily work in the U.S. Since our flight to Beijing is going to be connected in Toronto, we are wondering whether it's possible for us to apply for a "rush" service in Toronto Center. We understand we might need to change our flight from Toronto to Beijing if "same day pick-up" service is out of the question. What specific documents do we need if this is possible? Thank you for any advice you could provide in advance!

Yes, you can apply from the CVASC branch in Toronto. However, there is no same day pick-up serice. The rush service just allows the applicants to pick up in two days if they submit their documents before 11:30.
