the first "Intangible Cultural Heritage Grand Garden" Dragon Boat Festival Party is held in Yanqing from May 31 to June 6. You can enjoy many activities including Dragon Boat Races mainly at Xiadu Park, Guichuan Square, Yanqing Museum and the tourism cultural villages in Yanqing.1

Thanks for the information. I will be in the center of Beijing on June 2nd. Yanqing is a bit far away, no dragon boat race in the center of Beijing? Thanks!0

There are also such boat races at Longtanhu Park and Shichahai Houhai Park and Summer Palace. Boat races in the three places are organized by local residents, so I am not sure whether many people take part in that. Just try that tomorrow.0
