why would may be a pig for rabbit? wouldnt it be a rat or a ox?

Kayla, I do not know if you know five elements. The relationship between two elements is either compatible or incompatible. Each animal has its own element. We can figure out whether two animals in Chinese zodiac are compatible or not according to their element. The Rat's element is not compatible with rabbit. That's why Rabbits are suggests to avoid Rat.1
