Can I take expensive things to China?

I am going to China in July this year. I wonder if I am allowed to take things without being taxed? I am planning to take 2 expensive watches (one for myself and one for my friend in China), Burberry scarf (for the friend), one laptop and some health product (for myself). Thank you.

Scarf, laptop and health products can be regarded as items for personal use. I am not sure if one of your watches will be taxed. You may take all these products without the boxes and price tags. This might make the customs believe that they are for personal use.
