Is it recommended to travel to guilin on july mth? How is the weather?

Personally, it is not recommended. As it happens during Chinese summer holiday, there may be crazy crowds there. Just for your reference!
It will be hot then, with the average temp of 30℃ or a little higher. Cloudy days will be the majority, but several rainy days may also happen.1
