About:Chinese Embassy in Singapore

I am going to Singapore where I will apply for a Chinese Tourist Visa.

Hi! In the present I live in China, where I have a work Z. But suddenly have to travel (in two or three days) to Singapore for some business and I will stay for a week. The problem is that my Chinese worker Z expires in 4 days, this means that it will expire during during those days in Singapore. According to what I was advised here in China, first, I will have to apply for a Chinese tourist L in the Chinese Embassy in Singapore in order to be able to come back, and then as a second step, extend my Chinese worker Z.
So my question are: In order to apply for a Chinese tourist L, the Embassy is open every day? How many days I need to get the the Chinese Tourist L, is there a fast way? and which documents will be required?
By the way, I understand that Argentinian people does not need Visa to Singapore, right?
Thanks!
Nicolas

Hi, have you get your residence permit based on your working contract? work Z is only valid for 30 days after entry. It is ok to come back again if you have a valid residence permit. You can not apply in Singapore if you are not a resident.

My residence permit is according to my worker Z. Both expire in the same day (May 30). But I am going to apply for a tourist L in Singapore, and after coming back to Beijing (one week after) I extend the original worker Z and I also extend the residence permit. They did not mention the residence permit in the offices that arrange this in Beijing. They assure me that I can leave China with my passport before May 30 (when it expires) I come back with a tourist L, and then extend the expired worker Z here in Beijing. But I just want to be sure... You are telling me that I should not fly because I will not have the elements for a tourist L? Thanks!

But it is true that you can not apply for tourist L in Singapore if you do not hold PR, WP, EP, STP, DP or SVP. You can try to contact CVASC for direct answer.
