Medication allowed in Carry on?

Hello,

I am traveling to China on Friday and I am wondering if it is possible for me to make it through security with medication?
I know I can in Canada but I am not sure in China.
I have pill form Typhoid vaccination and need to take it every other day. I don't want to start it unless I can finish the 4 dosages.

Thank you an answer would help asap!!

Yes, it is ok to take along your medication. However, to ensure everything is going smoothly, I suggest you prepare the prescription from your doctor or pharmacist in case.
