How to go to MT. Putuoshan Pilgrimmage site fr. Shanghai Pudong Airport, by bus or other options?

Place where Buddha Guan Yin , the Goddess of Mercy, is workshipped by millions.

From the airport, you can take the airport shuttle bus line 7 to its terminal at the South Railway Station. Then you can walk to the south bus station, where you can find buses for Shenjiamen Putuo Bus Station in Zhoushan. Then you need to take a taxi to Zhujiajian Dock to take a ferry for the Putuoshan.

Thanks very much for reply, can you provide me the other info, like the travel time of line 7 to terminal, then to dock, and what the speed boat sailing time schedule to putuoshan (In & 0ut)

Hi, Lofina.
The bus line 7 takes around one hour to reach the south bus station. The bus from SH to Zhoushan takes around 4.5 hours. From Shenjiamen Bus Station to Zhujiajian Dock, it takes around 20 minutes. From Zhujiajian Dock to Putuoshan takes around ten minutes.

During the day time, the ferry operates from 06:20-17:20 and at night the ferries are at 17:35, 18:30, 19:30, 20:30, 21:50 at Zhujiajian Dock. From Putuoshan, the ferries are from 06:20 to 17:30 during the day time and at night they are at 18:00, 19:00, 20:00, 21:00, 22:10.
