Yes, you can use your method to your hotel.

You can take the airport shuttle bus line 1 to the terminal at the Bell Tower with fare around 25RMB per person. Then take a taxi for your hotel in around 7RMB per taxi, holding around at most around 3 to 4 people. I suggest you to use two taxis from the Bell Tower to your hotel. Two people with your luggage can be in one taxi and the other three ones can be in another.

Is grand noble hotel far from bell tower?

I think it is not very far. The distance is around 1.5km.
If you do not mind and do not feel tired, you can walk to your hotel along the East Street.

Walking is perfectly feasible, however, there are some things to note:
- Google maps has placed GN Hotel in wrong place, it really is on East St and not on some back alleys... HiRes map is Ok, though
- Bell tower underpass is a bit confusing, finding the correct exit could be a bit of fun with all the luggage...
- Another major road needs to be crossed. There is an underpass (ie. stairs) or you can cross it the Chinese way...
