About:Chinese Embassy in Kazakhstan

Is it possible to get visa to China from Astana?

We are two cyclists from Finland and our plan is to cycle around the world. We will arrive to Astana in couple of months. We would spent time in China about two months and from there go to India. Thanks in advance!

Lauri, the latest regulation requires that those who apply in the third countries are required to provide their resident permit for employment or study. I am not sure if you can apply in Astana even you have the valid visa there. You may contact the Chinese embassy there to confirm it.
