I am Indian passport holder currently in China on Tourist visa. I have a single entry visa. I would like to return to India from China via Tibet.

No vsai is needed, but to travel visa TBT, you have to apply for a Travel permit in advance. Also you are not allowed to take individual travel there, so you have to join a tour through a Chinese travel agency.
