I am an architecture student, and we just watched the film about this forbidden city. this isn't exactly a fact, but the emperor who ordered to build the forbidden palace might've killed all the skilled workers so that no trace can be found as to how to build such structures and designs.; Answered by katie anderson from USA | Jan. 29, 2015 13:58
