Do I need to have a hotel reservation for the whole 3-4 weeks or is a hotel reservation for just a few days sufficient?

Hi, I'm planning on staying in Beijing on multiple-entry tourist for 3-4 weeks in August and I read that proof of a hotel reservation is required.

Hi, hotel reservation for a few days is enough for tourist L application. If you want to multiple entries L, you should also provide detailed travel itinerary.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I noticed on the form as you said that a detailed itinerary is needed for a multiple-entry.
I was thinking of applying for a multiple-entry one year tourist L, does that mean I would need to have hotel bookings scattered throughout the year or is it enough if I have just booked a hotel and flights for one of the intended visits?

Generally, hotels and flights for all intended visits are required if you want to get a multiple entry L. Also, it is difficult to get it if you visit for China for the first time actually unless you have supporting documents said above.
