Can I make a stop over at Shanghai Airport for 2 days without visa to visit friends in Shanghai?

If you will make a international transfer stopover in the SH airport, you can get out of the airport for 2 days without a visa during the 2 days, you can visit your friends. You need to have the connecting flight ticket when you get out of the airport.

If you just plan to visit your friend in SH only, you cannot do that without a visa.
