can BRITISH PASSPORT obtain 6 days tourist visa upon arrival in Guangzhou?

we are flying from MRU - HKG MK640/01 June 2014 ( STAFF TICKETS)
on the 2nd june we will take a ferry from hkg intl airport to Guangzhou - hotel COUNTRY GARDEN HOLIDAY RESORTS
on the 6th june return back to Lantau island - SILVERMINE BEACH RESORTS
on the 14th june HKG -MRU MK641
