About:China Visa Fees

Expiring visa

I currently have a China type L due to expire at the end of July. I plan to travel to Hong Kong in July but return to the US in August. Do I need to renew it prior to departure?

Do you mean to need to return to China to catch your flight back to the US? sorry, I have to know more details to answer this question.
