About:Shopping in Guangzhou

Can you please suggest something for my travel plan in Guangzhou

I will arrived at GZ International Airport midnight 23rd and plan to stay at a near by Hotel just for the night and next day I plan to Visit GZ, do some shopping and have a river cruise at the Pearl River at night. I intended to move out of the Hotel and stay some where nearer to the GZ South Railway Station so I can take the High Speed Train to Changsha on the 25th, May. Can you please advice ?

Hi, David. As I know, good hotels are hard to find near the airport and the pretty nice ones will charge high.
In my opinion, you can take the airport shuttle bus line 1 to the Civil Aviation Ticket Office near the railway station. Near the Ticket Office, there are two hotels, Baiyun City Hotel and the Southern Airlines Pearl Business Hotel GZ. Maybe you can choose either of them to live, so that traveling around the city will be easier for you on the next day.

During the traveling, the Beijing Road, the Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street, the Chen Clan Academy, the Shamian Island are suggested to have a look besides the Pearl River Cruise at night. If you want to shop, the Beijing Road will be the best place.
