You can take a train from GY to Kunming. Upon reaching Kunming, you can take a train for Lijiang or take a bus from Kunming West Bus Station to Lijing.

Hi,If you wanna take a night train, make sure you book a sleeper. Ask for a lower bed. It's much more comfortable.
