About:Forbidden City

closed for renovation about the Forbidden City

hi, last week my friends visit Forbiden city and he said that it would be closed for renovation, there's any information they are open? because I would like to visit next week (11 May 2014)

Hi. I did not find any information about its closure. I just know, some of the small palaces inside will be closed for some time.
So I do not think it will affect your trip to that place. But you should avoid Monday to visit, because it is only closed on Monday.
