How much money do you recommend we exchange from USA money to yuan

we do want to do some shopping while china

Will you exchange it in the US or China? If in US, you are recommended to exchange no more than 20,000 Yuan, because the limitation of money to take into China is 20,000 Yuan. In many large shopping malls, it is ok to pay with credit card, Visa or Master. It will be very convenient!
