Step down 200v use in my country with 220v voltage?

I want to buy step down from input 200v with output 100v. So can use that equipment in my country which use voltage 220v? Is it effet to the output result or the equipment it self? Thank you for your answer..

Janus, it's a bit dangerous to do that. You may use it for short time but it might destroy your equipment if you use the stepdown for long.
