About:History of Chinese Kung Fu
When teaching kung fu, did they teach step-by-step or slowly(for example meditation)

Yes, generally speaking, the Chinese teacher will teach Kung Fu step-by-step. :)

When I began to learn for the first three months we practiced basic stances. We began every form with step by step instructions from the active Sifu.

Step by Step is the right way but it takes more time to learn if Masters teach them in two methods discipline and decent but it would be fast
