Delivery Delay

Hello,
Im hoping you can help me. I ordered a package from China to be delivered to the US, the beginning of April. The package has still not been delivered. When I go to check the status of it, it remains as "dispatch from sorting center" in Shanghai. Is this correct? Why is there such a long delay? My tracking # is LN299799814CN. Please help me!!!!
