If i avoid the dangerous passes, are there any climbing by staircases besides going up by cable car?Will this May 2014 be a good time to visit? What is the weather at this time?If i stay in the city hotel, what is the best transport to take to Huashan?The hotels in Huashan like Golden Sky Mountain Villa, Five Cloud Peak Hotel and Yuntai Mountain Villa, do they have online booking?RegardsHarry ChuaSingapore

Yes, of course. As I know, several parts of the roads to the North Peak are flat, but not all the places are easy to climb. In my opinion, you can use the West Peak to reach the top station on the west peak and then climb to the five peaks and get down the mountain from the north peak. In this way, you can climb the mountain as well as viewing the scenery on the peak of the mountain. The roads to several peaks are not steep except the roads to the south peak. It is suggested to take a taxi to reach then entrance of the mountain. May is a great time visit the mountain, not so hot, not so cold. I suggest you to go in the Middle of May. As I know, the hotels on the mountain do no provide the online booking service and you just need to book one at spot.
