About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

US Citizen visiting Kenya needs to update F visa

Hi - I am an American working for Teach in Yunnan, but I will be visiting my sister in Kenya. However, i need to get a new one to return to work. I have an invitation letter from China. Will I be able to get a new one while I'm in Kenya? Thanks.

Hi, you should provide the original and photocopy of your valid residence permit in Kenya if you apply there. I think you can try to extend your current F at local PSB before leaving China.
