How far is the tiger leaping gorge from Beijing? And are there are places nearby to visit if I was to go for a 2 -3 day trip?

There is around 3700km between the gorge and Beijing.
For the nearby places, do you mean the nearby places around Beijing or around the Gorge?
If you mean the Beijing, I think only the beijing city and some close attractions such as the Great Wall will fill your 2-3 days. If you have extra time, you can try to visit Tianjin.
If you mean the gorge nearby, the Lijiang Town, Jade Dragon Mountain, Shuhe Town are suggested to have a look.

Thank you. I was actually referring to what was near the gorge. Is 3 days enough time with traveling to spend there or how many days would you recommend?

Hi,

I would recommend you to do the high trail trekking of the gorge. I think Beijing Hutong is better than all the old town.
The trek is worth your money.
