About:China Visa Renewal and Extension

I would ask for suggestion to solve my visa

Hi, my name is weng chun from Malaysia. Please advise what should i do because as my tour said i only can apply 30 days type in China when we are entering Tibet.

3 -24 July - Tibet, Xi An, Urumqi, Kashgar. (I will follow tour guide to Tibet , he said our previous applied onewill be canceled. My plan was to apply it 2 years with multiple entry. Please advise what should i do?)

24 July -5 August- Pakistan (Can i apply 30 days type when i enter Chinese border from Pakistan? I will be going North Korea on 19-23 follow tour, what chinese typei should apply in case i have to apply another one when i wan enter from North Korea.)

6 -18 - Beijing, Harbin
19 - 23 - North Korea
23-25 Beijing

Please advise

Hi, you need a double entry Chinese tourist L type and a Tibet Entry Permit for this visit. I am thinking it is difficult to get a multiple entry one if you are visiting China for the first time.

Dear Bob, thanks for the replied :)too bad the tour guide said any individual chinese visa we applied earlier in our country will be canceled due to we have to apply group permit from Kathmandu to Tibet, inclusive 30 days one. Anyhow, i will be staying in China more than 30 days,i think the only way is to apply another 30 days one at islambaad Pakistan.

Dear Wengchun,
Still i don't get it, it will be my individual chinese visa issued in my country cancelled when asking for my tibet permit? (i mean coming from Nepal). As you said, i've read that in my guide, not sure if is true. Going to Nepal Next thursday and still decideing if i'll go to tibet from nepal and then to china's mainland or the other way (mainland, lhasa, Nepal). Thank's for any tip and information.

Dear Sol,

Yes, foreigner must go with TOUR in order to travel in Tibet. In this case, you doesnt has to apply China tourist L in your country. This is because the tour guide will help us to apply special permit to TIbet inclusive a 30 days L. If u are looking for budget tour, i may intro anupam.dahal@yahoo.com to you.
