About:FAQ of Chinese Visa Application

I am marrying Fiancee in China. Is it easier to apply for Tourist visa first then for Q2 after marry

I am marrying my Fiancee in China in June 2014, will it be easier for me to apply for L type first then go there get married then apply for Q2 type for at least 90 days stay or 5 years one validity after married within the first 30 days upon arrival? what documents do I need to prepare before I make the trip from Canada? Will appreciate all your help and advice. Thank you. Leo

Q type asks for your marriage certificate. So you may go to China and get married with the L type. Then you go back to Canada to apply for Q type.
