回卿証 has expired, but need to leave this morning

URGENT URGENT

Hi, my son's回卿証 has expired, but we need to leave this morning to ShenZhen. He is hollidng a HK Special Administrative Region PRC passport, can he enter China without 回卿証. We just need to stay there for one night and returning tomorrow evening.

Sorry, he needs to renew his 回乡卡, or apply for a temporary permit for entry.
