Hi, You can apply for visa on arrival at Sanya or Haikou via sea or air. Following documents are required:a. Valid passport b. 2 passport sized photographsc.  Processing feed. If necessary, you need also provide return ticket and hotel bookings.

Thanks for the information. We already have a Chinese visa as we fly from Changsha. Is it still necessary to have a Hainan visa then?

You mean you already has a Chinese visa and just fly from Changsha to Hainan for sightseeing or transfer, right?If so, you do not need to have a HN visa. One Chinese visa is enough.
