About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hello, I plan the trip from Europe to Australia through Beijing and Guanzhou.

Hello, I plan the trip from Europe to Australia through Beijing and Guanzhou. Not leaving the airport! But on the way back I plan to stay for 1 day in Beijing. Do I need multi entry visa in this case, since I will be leaving aiport only once in Beijing on the way back. After I fly to Europe. Thanks in advance!

Hi, how long will you stay in the airport each stopover. For your return trip, do you still need to tranist via both Beijing and Guangzhou? anyway, this 72 hr free transit is only for direct transit via one city.

Maximum I will stop for 9 hours in Guangzhou. Others - only few hours. So I wonder is that enough for me only 1 SINGLE entry or I need MULTIPLE or even maybe TRANSIT visit (if such exists). Because while going to AU I only pass the airports and coming back I would like to stay in Beijing (passing Guangzhou but not leaving the airport).

No, you can not avail this 72 hr free transit for this trip. But only a single entry transit G type one is enough.
