Maybe this is not the cheapest way to go, but it is convenient and efficient! Walk from your hotel to Xin Nan Zhan bus stop to take bus no. 51 to Gaoyao stop. Then transfer to the direct bus to Xishan scenic area at the cost of CNY15. Then you can climb the mountain for visit or take the cable car to Dragon Gate, which is generally a little hard to climb!0
