We plan on bringing our daughter to china for language studies for 6 to 8 weeks. Right now we are still checking the school where she can study. Can we apply for an L tourist for her for 60 or 90 days?  By the way, she is holding a Philippine passport but has been to china numerous times. Thanks

I am afraid not, becuase to change L to X is not allowed within China. She has to leave and apply again for a student X in the Philippines. So, she is advised to wait for admission notice and apply for student X directly before leaving.
