Hi, my boyfriend is studying in China for 3 years. We have been together for 5 years and have been classed as a defacto couple in Australia for visa purposes. Is it possible to apply for the S1/S2?

Sorry, you need marriage certificate for S type application. Or you can confirm this with the CVASC or the embassy in Australia directly.

I applied through an agency and I got a S2. MY girlfriend is Chinese and I am American. All I had to do was submit her chinese ID and a letter that she invited me as a friend.
