accommodation on l visa

Question

I am British and my wife is Indonesian. I will be on an F type and in provided private furnished accommodation in Beijing from 8 May to 26 June. I already have mine for this. My wife plans to join me on an L type from 15 to 26 June. As she isn't staying in a hotel, she won't have a hotel reservation to show. So what to do? Will a private address be acceptable? Or should I ask my Chinese sponsor to prepare an invitation letter for my wife?

Yes, you can ask your sponsor to send her an invitation letter. Or you go to PRC first and then send her an invitation letter. Both are ok.
