About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

I am a sri lankan live in canada (PR). I want to visit my girlfriends parents in Foshan, Gungdong.

Hi,
I m going to apply my visa from Toronto. So i guess I can go there with a L. Is that correct ? Then what about my invitation letter ? could u please guide me how to make that ? Then I can ask them to do that for me . Is that doc. should be in chinese ? Please advise me. Thank you.

Yes, you can only apply for tourist L type with an invitation letter from your girlfriend. The letter should be in Chinese and she also needs to include following details:
(1) Your Information (full name, gender, date of birth, etc.)
(2) Information on the planned visit (arrival and departure dates, place(s) to be visited, etc.)
(3) Information on the inviting entity or individual (name, contact telephone number, address, signature of the inviting individual)
