About:China Transit Visa

I have a layover at guangzhou airport of 14 hrs, do I need a visa to visit city or wait at airport ?

Hey, I will be travelling to los angeles but i have a layover at guangzhou airport of 14 hrs. Do i require one for the layover waiting time in the airport itself , or to visit places in the city in that layover time ??

Nothing is required if you remain in the airport transit area. But you need to apply for a free stay permit if you plan to go out for sightseeing. Your paspsport and flight ticket and hotel booking (if any) are required.
