Do I need 6 months remaining on my Travel Document to travel to China?

I am traveling to China in May and coming back to US in June 1. So I am staying about a month in China. My traveling document is expiring on July 11, 2014. Is it OK for me to travel to China as planned?

Hi, you have to renew it first, because Chinese embassy requires the passport with validity of at least 6 months.
